As a solo designer on a team, I set a core functionality for the first launch: chat interaction, types of incoming and ongoing messages, settings
I focused on a low-friction, guided interface, as our main users likely had no experience with AI
Meanwhile, I worked closely with the design system team and design lead to ensure our tool felt native, but distinct
+ 40% active users
Launched a feature that drove a 40% increase in active users over 3 months
It became a top-performing scenario, increasing engagement, activating users, and reinforcing core retention flows
